Opening today "A Glass Act" at The Bilston Craft, Gallery, Wolverhampton
My 60 cm 'Lattice Frost Bowl' has been selected as part of this exhibition.
A Glass Act celebrates the diversity and relevance of contemporary glass tableware and features numerous functional objects for domestic use from the everyday glass tumbler through to intricate candelabras and everything in between.
The exhibition brings together work which explores how we use, understand and value glassware and considers why so many craftspeople focus on items for the table. Through glass that is blown, cast, kiln formed, fused and engraved each object displayed offers an individual response that explores the potential of this medium.
