After moving from Surrey last year, I have finally been able to unpack all my boxes and set up a studio here in Cornwall.  I'm looking forward to experimenting with some new ideas and designs and hope to be running some workshops in the future.

As well as running lots of workshops over the past few months,  I've also been working on some bespoke glass pieces for the Lambeth Palace Gift Shop situated in London SE1.

More details to follow soon, but suffice to say I am thrilled to have been given this opportunity and hope to have some of the pieces on sale there soon.

During the Workshop all your materials and equipment are provided.  We have a couple of starter projects to get you going and you are encouraged to bring your own ideas too, do get in touch.

Last month I was commissioned by Lambeth Palace to make some unique, bespoke glass Christmas decorations for sale in the gift shop situated inside the Palace.  Sales have been going really well and my decorations will soon be adorning the Christmas trees of London and environs!

I will also be working on a few new pieces for sale in the New Year.

My Christmas workshops for 2017 are now over!  Thank you to all who have come along to spend some creative time in my studio - over the last couple of months I have had around 20 participants and it's been great to meet you all, and to see some friends come along too!  Hope to see you again in the New Year for more glass fusing! 

Now it's time for me to concentrate on my own Christmas making, so the kiln won't be getting a rest.

With only a month to go before Christmas, my Christmas workshops are proving a success and the kiln has hardly had time to cool down over the past few weeks.  It's been lovely to meet new people, and see some friends from the past who have come and spent a morning in my studio to create many and varied decorations for gifts and for their trees.

I'm fully booked now but will start again the New Year offering more workshops for creative fun!

The kiln has been on a lot recently!  I am working on a series entitled Gossamer Threads ready to exhibit at Cranleigh Arts Centre later this month for our annual North Surrey Society of Designer Craftsmen exhibition entitled 'The Makers' Art.'

Using turquoise, neo lavender and erbium pinks these pieces catch the light beautifully.  Hope you can come and see them in part 2 of the exhibition from 19 September.
